Five on Friday

I know I skipped last Friday, but I pledge first week of school insanity. Let's see of I can come up with five thing.

I posted two new yarns on etsy:

Serena

Supersock Merino Heavy

I frogged my Karebella Lace Vest (yes, it is cursed!), but I already picked another pattern for the yarn (I am sticking to a vest.)

Oh, and my July pattern is done (we won't talk about the fact that it is September.)

Cursed?

I am starting to think that this vest is cursed. I knit and blocked to specifications:

Everything seems right? Well, the arrow is where my neck is going to be:

So unless I am a flat board, here is how the vest is actually going to sit on me:

Obviously I need to make the fronts about 6" longer.

It is going to be a vest after all

Remember when I posted about my Back-to-School vest? It is ok if you don't, just go there and read. It needed fixing, and since I have not even started my 4th sweater, I thought,"That's it, I'll fix it and it will be my April project." I am not cheating, vests and wips do count. I took it out the basket:

A hole, near the hem. Of course the vest is bottom up (if it had been bottom down, the hole would have been near the top.)
That was it. I ripped the all thing out. And decided for a vest again. This one.

Yes, it is the same yarn, natural light (top) versus artificial (bottom.)
