Clean Slate 2011

A recurring dream of mine is to start a new year with no UFO's, a clean slate.

Holiday Knitting

When people ask if I knit holiday gifts, I usually answer no, but I am not being completely honest. During the corse of the year I knit many things that end up in my "gift basket": scarves (I live in California, how many scarves do I knit?), hats (I do not wear hats, I do knit them though), items in colors I love but I do not wear. When the holiday season comes around, I take the basket and I hunt: this year yield, three scarves and a hat. I was left knitting two baby cardigans:


In pink: Arcadia Eyelet Cardi
In white: Pachuko Organic Cardi

And a pair of socks.

Trapped

Day three of being trapped in the house with a sick 10 years old (a quick trip to the grocery store and a trip to the doctor with the 14 years old do not count.)
