Did you all think I forgot about my promise of a pattern a month? I know it's almost the end of February, but dyeing and knitting for Stitches West threw my whole month off. Anyway, here they are, the February Slippers, in bulky weight, they knit up in a flash!
The pattern (in a pdf file) is available for download here or on Ravelry.

More Socks
While knitting frantically on a sample that needs to be ready for Stitches West, I can distract everybody from the lack of news with the photo of a pair of socks I knit for my dad:
Yarn: 1 skein of Artyarns Supermerino in color #101 and 2 skeins of Karabella Aurora 8 in color 1364.
Ravelry project page here.
If you are coming to Stitches, please stop by to Full Thread Ahead booth (booth #631, click here to see the Booth Map): my yarns and I will be there!

First Socks
No, no the first socks I made, but the first pair of socks I ever made for my husband. Actually, the first thing I knit for him since we got married, and the second since I met him. Many year ago, while we were still dating, I made him a humongous yellow cotton aran: did not know about the curse of the boyfriend's sweater, and I guess what does not kill a relationship makes it stronger: we survived.
Pattern: Thuja by Bobby Ziegler, Knitty Winter 2005
Yarn: Karabella Aurora 8, 3 balls in color #13 - stone wash denim
