I really do not want to say it, but ...... are you kidding me? I would not be caught dead in sandals and socks, and I know that in this country I am an exception, but come on, sock with flip flop. And they look freaky. Really freaky.

No, I entirely agree. Socks are socks, sandals are sandals, and never the twain shall meet. In my book, the only thing like an acceptable exception would be for little kids (if your feet fit into 2" long sandals, you can do it too), and sheer stockings with a dressier sandal for work. Otherwise, you just look like an old man--even if you're a woman!
